IAR Systems latest version release 9.60.3

IAR Systems has released version 9.60.3 of IAR Embedded Workbench, a significant update enhancing developer productivity and expanding support for modern embedded systems. This release introduces improved *CMake support*, allowing seamless project import, build, and debug within the IAR Embedded Workbench IDE while leveraging the flexibility of CMake. Developers working with Arm Cortex-M architectures will benefit from new support for the Cortex-M52, Cortex-R52 (single precision mode), Cortex-M55, and Cortex-M85 (including ETM trace). Security is enhanced with SDM Debug Authentication for various debug probes. Static analysis capabilities are extended with C-STAT support for the latest MISRA C:2023 standard. Further strengthening code quality, the release adds support for new and updated GCC extensions to the C language. For continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows, J-Link now offers command-line debug capability, enabling debugging with VS Code on Linux and Windows. Additionally, experimental support for Sys V shared objects and SARIF output provides developers with advanced features for creating and analyzing embedded applications. Finally, version 9.60.3 includes support for numerous new devices, further broadening its applicability.     The Segger J-Link debug probe has been added to the C-SPY command line utility (cspybat) and the Runtime Analysis tool (C-RUN) on booth Linux and Windows.
